Answers

1. How long will it take for my website to be developed?
The timescale will vary per project, and will depend upon several factors; these being the size and complexity of your project, and the availability of prepared content that you are supplying us.

The average website usually takes no longer than 3-4 weeks, however it is not unheard of to have completed a project within several days. We will do our very best to meet any deadlines, and will always work efficiently to complete your website as soon as possible. A rough estimation will be supplied with any quotation – so if you haven’t already, feel free to request a quote.

2.How much will it cost?
Like the timeframe, this will vary depending upon the type and complexity of website you require. Each website will require a varying amount of development time, based upon the requirements of the customer. That said, our prices are very competitive, with web design prices starting at just £295.00 (the average site costing between £550-£1200). We recommend that you request a quote to get an accurate figure.

For larger projects, we also have payment plans available that allow you to spread the cost of your website, content management or e-commerce project over several months.

3.I'm not sure if I require web design, content management or e-commerce?
If you simply require a static brochure-style website with minimal functionality (perhaps as much as a contact form) and have a minimal budget, our web design service is appropriate for you. However, if you require further functionality and wish to edit the content of your website yourself, our content management service would be more appropriate.

Finally, our e-commerce service is perfect for those wishing to sell online.

4. I'd like BlueSky to develop my website – what is next?
If you haven’t already, please request a quote. We will then return you a final quote and a brief project outline, explaining the development process.

5. Do you require a deposit?
Yes; we generally ask for a deposit of 40% prior to development commencing. The final 60% is payable once the commissioned work is approved by the customer.

6. Will a meeting be required?
In 99% of cases, a meeting is not required and all contact is generally done through the form of email or telephone conversations.
